In 1954, under the guidance of the late Halil Akpınar, the family head and company founder, a modest enterprise emerged, processing a limited amount of milk daily and crafting cheese, yogurt, and butter using traditional methods.
Over the years, this initial venture evolved, with a focus on expanding and refining traditional tastes. In 1977, a significant milestone was achieved as the first pasteurized dairy products factory in the Konya region was established.

In 1994, Akova Süt ve Gıda Mamulleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. underwent a restructuring process, giving rise to the modern facilities that are operational today. The company now boasts a production capacity of 1,000 tons per day, covering 25,000 square meters with a workforce of 300 individuals. Every day, high-quality milk sourced from families spanning the Taurus Mountains to Ankara, from Aksaray to Isparta in Central Anatolia, is collected at 18 centers, swiftly cooled, and transported to the state-of-the-art facilities in Konya.
